i suppose so, yeah. i was reluctant to get it since i have something similar (in that it’s sheer, sleeveless, and black with white polka dots) but i’ll make it work somehow.

i would’ve loved to have gone to ccc, but when i got my rewards letter, it was literally laughable. i’ve heard great things about the school, though, so it’s sad. what turned you off nyu?

oddly enough it was an information session- they had a presentation at a hotel nearby a month or so ago, and while they’re usually meant to pump you up to go to that school, i walked out feeling like it isn’t exactly the school for me, as cool as it is. i’d been holding onto my desire to go there from when i wanted to study film, but since my desired major has changed i really think there’s other schools better suited. i’d rather study what i love at a school that i can fall in love with than go to the school i’m in love with to study something i don’t really want anymore and pay off all my life, you know? because nyu is hella pricey.

I’m gonna jump in and say that Butter’s formula isn’t always the best. I’m not sure about top coats, but their colors can be pains to apply, so they’re risky to splurge on.

AHHH what is this matte teal polish?!

got it at forever 21, of all places! i’ve been looking for black matte polish or a good matte top coat but the cheapest top coat i found was like $12 and that’s not nearly cheap enough for me, so i was psyched when i found this one, since i’d been looking for a pretty teal to replace my old one.

I know both the nail polishes I bought a while ago at Claire’s turned out to be matte, so maybe they’d have some?

i’ll have to check ‘em out + the hard candy top coat esther suggested!

I think they look rad! you more you do space nails, the better they get. it’s an acquired skill haha

you can’t really tell in the picture, but i think i went a bit too heavy with the glitter on some of them. happy with ‘em though!
